Some examples of recent and current projects…

I am an Associate with Changing Minds Globally and Implemental Worldwide, providing consultancy and training services to a variety of global mental health literacy and anti-stigma programmes.

These include the Lithuanian Ministry of Health’s “Zvelk Giliau” (Look Deeper) programme (pictured), the “MH4U” project in Ukraine, the “Speak Up” project in Kenya and the UK Department of Health and Social Care’s “UK Oversees Territories Anti-Stigma Strengthening Programme”.

Examples of bespoke training packages designed and delivered for clients:

I am an Associate Trainer with Rethink Mental Illness and Mental Health UK, delivering their accredited training workshops on Suicide Awareness, Mental Health Awareness, Mental Health for Managers and Mental Health Champions.

My supervision and mentoring work:

I mentor senior leaders and managers, exploring meaningful improvements to mental health support for themselves and their workforce. This includes strategic and practical support on the implementation of lived experience ‘champion’ programmes within organisations.

I offer a specialised supervision service for professionals working in VCSE mental health and social care roles. Using my years of experience in this sector, I provide a safe space to explore work practice as well as personal wellbeing strategies.

I offer mentoring and coaching for individuals and groups who wish to build skills and confidence around sharing lived experience stories of mental ill-health, whether in workplace settings or any other area of life.

I am the Independent External Evaluator for the ‘Route to Recovery’ programme delivered by Kyra Women’s Project in York. I conduct an annual review of the service including a quality audit of their data capture and reporting systems, alongside qualitative research around service provision and impact, with an annual report provided for the National Lottery Communities Fund.

As always, I apply my ‘lived experience leadership’' style to this process, switching traditional interviews and focus groups for more co-produced and creative techniques to enable participants to share their stories of growth and change.
